Welcome to my weekly humorous Parsha coloring page subscription service…in Beta testing! This is the *first official* weekly email. It’s my first time using the Substack subscription service, so if there are any problems please let me know.
A little background about me: I'm a cartoonist! I've been drawing Parsha related comics and content for years, starting from when my old comic strip "Of Biblical Proportions" won a Jerusalem Post New Cartoonist contest in 2008, and was then featured by the Orthodox Union for a while as part of their weekly e-newsletter.
Thanks to the pandemic, I've found myself unemployed and trying to use my art for good purposes. Since May, I've gone back to my Parsha art (Parshart? ) roots and started to create weekly humorous coloring pages with accompanying blurbs based on the weekly Torah portion for a private patron. But the time has come to invite others to join along in this fun and zany way to learn about the Parsha!
I try to create fun, funny, and high-quality art that both kids and parents alike can enjoy. I love to see how others color these pages, so feel free to post your final artworks! If you share on social media, be sure to tag @charipereart and include the hashtag #ParshaColoringPages.
And now, presenting this week’s page and blurb for Parshat Vayeira!
